He Ziyu
Born in Sichuan, China, currently based in Tokyo. After completing a Master's degree in International Media Studies at Hokkaido University, she worked in Japan's electric power manufacturing industry before transferring to the Department of Sculpture at Musashino Art University.
Her work explores the sense of alienation individuals experience within institutional structures, repetitive labor, and the intersection of fiction and reality, through investigations into bodily sensation and the act of seeing.
In recent years, she has focused on creating installation works featuring kinetic structures built from reassembled industrial components and found objects. Her practice often involves viewer interaction, constructing experiential environments that highlight the blurred and unstable boundaries of perception.
